The Langtry Hotel - Clacton-on-Sea

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was a highlight, thanks to the lovely cook. the parking situation was challenging, as spaces were limited, which added stress to our trip.

I slept so comfy in the soft bed.

Attentive staff & overall pleasant place to stay. Fab location to Millers Barn Golf Park. In the fairly nice area with restaurants and bars close to the hotel. Good customer care, parking onsite. Late check out: D

Great location near the pier and vibrant nightlife. Rooms are spacious and recently updated, though the shower could use more pressure. Breakfast is a highlight, thanks to the friendly staff. Just be ready for some noise from creaky floors if you're a light sleeper. Decent value for a midweek stay!

We had the guest room and it was airy with shower.

On arrival the receptionist was very pleasant.The room was very clean and comfortable and the cooked breakast was excellent.

Thought it was a shame the bar closed at 7pm as apparently classed as out of season in May.The shower room was also very small but the hotel was very good value for money.

I couldn't believe how grimy the room was. The dirty carpets and stained linen made it hard to breathe. The shower was gross, and when I complained, the staff just shrugged. Definitely not what I expected for the price!

Bar was shut when we returned from a wedding,.Parking was a nightmare in the evening eventually parked, miles away. as Bar was shut spent an hour trying to find an off licence, for soft drinks, no off licences to be found. went to bed 9pm.

The hotel was clean. A request to have an alternative to the full English breakfast was carried out.

I would like to have enjoyed a more approachable and friendlier commmuniction with staff at the hotel. There was no obvious availability of hairdryer and iron

central location, nearby amenities, proximity to beach

Improve window locks for security!!! Replace the outdated furniture to freshen the vibe!!! Address the overwhelming noise from other guests for a better night's sleep!!!

it was dirty. We spent 2 nights and no body cleaned our room and made our bed. We had to pay the parking instead they offer free parking. need an urgent refurbish... And the towels were dark red and blue!! They do not know white color???

the staff were very nice helpfull with thire adviceon were to go and what to see,also thet do a fantastic breakfast

The breakfast here was great, seriously the best way to start your day! Think thick bacon and perfectly cooked sausages-proper British fare that keeps you going! Plus, especially Alison. Oh, and the location is bang on, just minutes from the pier and loads of top local grub spots like Prezzo!

The shower pressure could do with a bit of a boost, and a shelf for toiletries would be a nice touch. But honestly, it didn't spoil the vibe at all.

The hotel was used as a base, so no experience of any facilities

Cleanliness not up to standard expected, tv switch over to digital happened during our stay, but had to reprogramme tv ourselves, no help forthcoming from staff, shower room extremely small
